Housing

Housing

From housing 15 men in 2003 to over 150 men and women in 2008, shelter has been and still remains a great challenge to Church Army Branson and our mission. The lifestyle of an addict has left the people coming into our program homeless and without prospects of a “safe haven” from their former way of life.

In 2006, to meet a growing demand for safe and affordable group housing, Church Army Branson has developed a program featuring Peer Recovery Houses to compliment our six C.A.R.E. (Church Army Recovery Experience) Houses. Click here for application.

The Peer Houses have allowed us to add 70-75 beds and have shortened the waiting lists to get into a C.A.R.E. House. All of the houses require weekly rent, employment and participation in the supportive services offered by Church Army. The most notable difference is in the leadership of the house.

The houses require zero-tolerance sobriety and drug-free living, payment of rent, work duties and attendance at life, sobriety and spiritual skills classes.
