Church Army Branson is a non-profit Christian ministry designed as an intentional and dedicated outreach to the alcoholic and addicted of the community of the Branson, Missouri area. With National Administrative offices based in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, Church Army U.S.A., in a cooperative effort with concerned community leaders, established the local base in 1995 as an outreach to the “working poor” of the area during the economic expansion of the mid-nineties. Since that time, the ministry has evolved to include housing as well as supportive and instructional services to addicts and alcoholics in our community. This outreach has been blessed with phenomenal growth during the past years and has expanded both the diversity of services and scope of outreach in our effort to fulfill our mission statement. The addition of a Single Moms’ Program, the development of Children and Family Services, Peer Recovery Houses and opening of new offices in Stone and Christian Counties have all resulted in more changed lives and changed hearts among the addicts and alcoholics of the area. The staff of Church Army Branson has grown to meet the increased demands of the ministry but the largest expansion has been among our Auxiliary Staff including the many volunteers who have enlisted to help meet the needs of the many men and women reaching out to find a new way of life free of the crippling addictions of their past. Church Army Branson relies upon a dynamic Local Advisory Board for leadership and is accountable to the members of a diverse and supportive Church Army USA National Board. Funding sources are varied; these include governmental grants, foundations, tithes and offerings as well as individual contributions. These funds make up 90% of a growing budget.
